The Position:
Under the direct supervision of the Resource Mobilization and Strategic Partnerships Technical Adviser within Partnership and Resource Mobilization Unit of UNFPA West and Central Africa Regional Office, the Intern will support the Unit with i) donor mapping and intelligence gathering ii) data analysis of donors’ ODA policies and partnership opportunities in the region, iii) organization of outreach/resource mobilization events; iv) and facilitation of capacity building sessions for country offices in the region. A work-plan with achievements for the experience and learning opportunities will be agreed upon. Periodic progress meetings will lead to a beneficial environment for the Intern enhancing her/his skills and capacity in areas related to UNFPA’s mandate.
